With its day-old chicks hatching and production unit, Ivoire Poussin is the first hatchery operator in West Africa with more than 40 years of experience in hatchery business. This production unit is also responsible for managing all SIPRA farms.


Hatchery
This business line produces day-old broiler chicks and eggs, obtained from globally recognized strains adapted to tropical climate. SIPRA’s hatchery is equipped with state-of-the-art incubators and hatchers, which ensure the production of chicks marketed under the brand name IVOIRE POUSSINS on local market and in the sub-region.


"Breeder" Farms: SIPRA has its own flocks of breeder broiler chicks and eggs located in the regions of Abidjan and Yamoussoukro. These breeder farms equipped with modern equipment, are visited by veterinarians and monitored by teams of specialized and experienced technicians. The quality of human and technical resources ensures high-quality finished products to the satisfaction of our farmers and customers. SIPRA has set up strict hygiene and biosafety procedures on all sites, as the Group is conscious of the importance of strict compliance with sanitary standards in breeding business.


"Broiler" Farms:
In order to supply its poultry slaughterhouse, SIPRA operates about twenty farms for its broiler chicken production. It has a team of qualified technicians and veterinarians who ensure compliance with international farm standards. Throughout its production cycle, poultry is subject to regular sanitary controls to ensure that animal proteins meet food safety requirements.


"Layer" Farms:
SIPRA also produces eggs for consumption at the Agneby Poultry Complex “CAA”. This property of SIPRA, equipped with state-of-the-art technical equipment, is the largest modern layer farm in West Africa. Built on an area covering ??20 Ha, the complex also includes an automated egg processing and packaging facility.

Eggs laid at CAA are marketed under the brand name COQIVOIRE.
